County Link Policy > Rexroad.com

So I have this beautiful site that Bob Huber has designed. It is rocking with lots of traffic.

I also have this site that the county keeps for me.

My intent was to put a link on the county site to this one. Then I would not have to bother county staff wtih updating anything at all.

Well it turns out Yolo County has a policy of not allowing links to other sites -- like this one. Oh well. I was going to appeal to some kind of technology committee but I think I will just let it go. This can be something that comes up over time as we deal with trying to get the county to embrace the use of technology.

Bob Huber has done a terrific job on the site and the information that you are posting is terrific. There's a whole lot of work going on in order to develop and maintain a dynamic, content rich site. Regardless of the County's link policy, this is the site that I go to regarding 3rd district issues and other county issues as well.
