Several different counties and cities are dealing with the issue of rising housing prices within their jurisdictions.

I have been approached about the possibility of a "rent stabilization" ordinance in Yolo County to do something similar to what the City of Woodland did in 2002. What Woodland did was under some extreme circumstances with a park owner that was very unreasonable.

So far I have not seen park owners in the unincorporated area of Yolo County that have done anything approaching the former Woodland park owner. I would be hard pressed to support such an ordinance in the county without a similar fact pattern as we had in Woodland in 2002.
