Recall for opposing sprawl? > Rexroad.com

Doug Paul Davis over at The People's Vanguard of Davis has this post today about my vote on the Madison portion of the General Plan.

A few thoughts on this ---

If I get recalled for opposing sprawl then so be it.

Since the meeting on Tuesday I have had more than a dozen people contact me about this Madison proposal and they all agree with me. That is nice but still leads to a 4-1 vote.

Unfortunately, I think I am so opposed to this silly project that people have stopped listening to me. I think I have done a poor job of communicating on this.

Finally, I have no regrets at all for my vote against this project. It was the right thing to do.
