I personally have never experienced it but I am told that the odor that haunts the area of town by CHP office is back.  Anyone else having that problems with odors?

We know Georgia Flory is...but that is not the same issue as the one above.

I noticed that smell and it seemed worse than previous years.

It seems to appear around tomato harvesting time. I seem to remeber the city talking about the cause of it. I found this on the old city site.

Another PCP site, located east of the City’s treatment facility and known as the “Ranch,” receives 3.5 million gallons of tomato wastewater per day from the cannery. Residents within a one-mile radius of the Ranch had complained about flies and odor. PCP has hired a subcontractor who plans to start spraying as soon as tomato solids are disposed of at the Ranch. With regards to the odor, tomato wastewater, under anaerobic conditions, tends to produce a hydrogen sulfide-like smell.

Ahh, nothing like the smell of anerobic respiration in the morning.

No so nice when somebody elses bacteria produce it, and they lock the car windows so they can't be rolled down, thus preventing the release of said gases and torturing all present.
