California Budget Project - Lottery By Matt Rexroad on Monday, June 11, 2007 @ 1:40 PM :: 0 Comments :: Blog   You can read this report from the California Budget Project on the potential privatization of the State Lottery. From reading this and the other information on the topic that has come out recently I think we either need to get rid of it (my first choice) or privatize it. The Lottery is just a goofy thing to have.  It funds education on the back of people that can least afford it. It would be better just to contribute directly to public education.
