Senator McCain in Vacaville > Rexroad.com

Tonight in the Vacaville home of C.C. Yin a large group of local folks got together to hold a fundraiser for Senator John McCain. Jenn took this picture of me speaking to close the evening.

I really do believe Senator McCain is the best choice to be the next President of the United States. Whatever you think about his position on various issues he is honest and will do what he thinks is right no matter what the political cost. I admire that.

The guy is a true American hero.

In his comments I think he even won Jenn over. That alone is amazing.

If it weren't for his support of the war, I would consider voting for him. He does actually seem to think for himself rather than just do whatever he thinks will get him elected.

There are certainly some good things about McCain. Many years ago, I really liked him and would have supported him for president.

However, I really don't see what you're saying about him not playing politics. After conflicting strongly with Bush during and after the 2000 election, he proceeded to support Bush and even campaign for him and his policies from 2003 until the present.

While I don't find him as, to be frank, corrupted as many of his peers, he's certainly not the pillar of integrity and wisdom that he seemed to be in 2000. The only Republican Senator who could win my vote for the presidency would be Arlen Specter, were he running. Now there's a man with integrity, who cares about the truth, doesn't want a thing to do with the political BS, and keeps doing what he thinks is right for the people of this country.
