The Red River Shootout is today with Texas and OU. I will take Texas.  Game starts at 0900.  People in that part of the country get all fired up about this. USC plays Arizona State at 12:30.  USC should win but ASU is good.  Their starting QB is hurt. LSU v. Florida at 5pm is a great game.  I went with LSU. Game time is 5pm. Missouri v. Oklahoma State.  Chase Daniel is the leading contender for the Heisman. Another 5pm start time.  Both teams are ranked. If we have upsets today USC could be looking to climb up from #9 to possibly #7.  They just have to keep winning and they will make it back as the teams above beat each other up. UC Davis opens Great Western Conference play today at 6pm.  They play the Thunderbirds of Southern Utah at home. I love this time of year -- in odd numbered years.
