Senator McCain By Matt Rexroad on Tuesday, October 07, 2008 @ 7:28 PM :: 0 Comments :: Blog   As many of you know I have admired Senator John McCain for twenty years. When I went to SERE school in 1998 I learned stuff about his role in the military that made me a fan for life.  I had the chance to meet him for the first time personally in 1999 when I was offered a job working with him.  It turned out to be a good decision on my part to do other things. In the past ten years I have had the chance to interact with him in several different forums.  We have discussed the economy, taxes, and world affairs. When Senator McCain was considering running for President in 2008 several years ago I thought he was far and away the best candidate.  I still do. In addition to being a true American hero, I believe that Senator McCain has a vision for America that is much closer to mine than Senator Obama. Jenn and I will be voting for Senator McCain with great pride. Campaign are usually not the best measure of a person.  In fact, they are almost never a true reflection of the person. I respect Senator McCain and want him to be our next President.
