CSAC -- Budget Information By Matt Rexroad on Thursday, February 22, 2007 @ 10:57 AM :: 0 Comments :: Blog   I'm attending a New Supervisors Meeting in Sacramento today.  The California State Association of Counties  runs these things.  Like most everything some of the presentations are great....some leave a little to be desired. One of the things I picked up this morning from a speaker with Santa Clara County was a very citizen involved budget process.  He said they have budget meetings in the evenings all over the county so people know what is included in the budget.  I think this is a great idea. When Dotty feels better we are going to start crafting Yolo County 101.  Seperate from this I would like try a budge presentation in Woodland.   We need more people to understand county government.  A budget presentation would be a small step in the right direction.
