Off shore oil drilling -- unpopular? By Matt Rexroad on Saturday, August 23, 2008 @ 1:00 PM :: 1 Comments :: Blog   Jenn and I just sat down to watch the Biden announcement.  Actually, I sat down to watch it.  Jenn was reading a book. They just said Biden has taken the unpopular stand of opposing off-shore oil drilling.  Unpopular?  I oppose off shore oil drilling.  Until just a few months ago most everyone did.  This gas price shock we are having should not change our policies regarding off shore oil drilling.  Now everyone is throwing this policy over board. We should be drilling in ANWAR.  This is frozen tundra that should be mined.  In the case of the California coast -- we don't need to do this.  It comes at a risk that is too high with an alternative that is so very obvious.
