I have really enjoyed the Olympics.

Some of the sports like team handball I think are awesome. This is what I don't understand. Softball will not be a sport in 2010 but team diving will be.

Team diving should not be an Olympic sport. Diving alone should be but not team diving. For any reason that can be stated for team diving we could also have team hurdles in track, team high bar in gymnastics (that would actually be fun to watch), or team BMX. My conclusion on this came when I saw two divers that both did the same thing wrong and the announcer said something like -- "They both did it wrong, but they did it wrong in the same way so their synchronization score will be good." Nope. That is silly.

Throwing yourself off the platform and doing cool stuff in the air is fun to watch and seem challenging. I want people to work on doing as much cool stuff in the air as possible -- forget the team work.

Keep softball. Get rid of team diving and rhythmic gymnastics. Add sky diving.
