Backpacks for Kids > Rexroad.com

Dotty has been working hard on the Backpacks for Kids event. We have landed some great sponsors and continue on. Dotty has mailed out hundreds of sponsorship letters over the past week. Thank you to all the people that have responded.

The goal is to get 1,000 backpacks this year for local kids.

The website is rocking. My favorite pictures are Reisig and Pinmentel in the dunk tank. They signed up to come to the event last year, actually showed up, and then got in the tank. We need the Jim Smith picture to be there too. This year we will be at Gibson House and I will be in the tank -- as well as several others.

If you can help -- please do. Dotty and Dave Flory worked to set up a completely seperate non-profit this year for tax purposes. Now that we are in the second year of this event -- it should have a lasting presence in Woodland.
