Board Meeting on Tuesday > Rexroad.com

I read most of my agenda on Friday but wrapped up a couple things after church today.

When I have an item highlighted on the agenda then I need to do something on that when it comes up at the meeting. This week I have more yellow on my paper than ever before.

Not only will Abbie be joining me at the Board meeting for "Take Your Child to Work Day" but I have two resolutions to present -- Week of the Young Child and National Volunteer Week.

Then we have a presentation on the budget -- that is always good. Pat Leary always does a great job on this stuff.

I asked for the item on criminal defense services to be placed on the regular agenda because we need to talk about this. The report from a couple years ago on this item is the one thing I still need to read in detail.

Then we have a contract with the UC Davis Ag Issues Center. I am not sure this is going to be worth it.

In the afternoon we will talk about ag mitigation. I am still a No vote. We are not going far enough here.

Then we have a presentation on the Delta. Seems like we just did that.

Finally, we have an alcohol permit in Dunnigan to consider. My views on this are very different than others. If it is a lawful activity then I don't see why we don't allow these people to do business.

Then we get into ground water and the water agency. This will be a real kick....nothing like kicking yourself in the head.
